Cornfield Point Association

About the Association

Cornfield Point Association is a shoreline community in Old Saybrook, Connecticut consisting of 348 homes and a nearly ¾ mile waterfront on Long Island Sound.  Incorporated by an Act of the Connecticut Legislature the Association is authorized to provide for the improvement of the land and for the health, comfort, protection and convenience of the members.  The Association is governed by its Charter and the By-Laws and Ordinances adopted by the members.

The Board of Governors consists of 9 members who are elected for 3 year terms at the Annual Meeting.  In addition there is a Secretary and Tax Collector.  Annual Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of June.

There is also an active Auxiliary Organization which coordinates many activities during the summer season.

Common assets include a beautiful sandy beach with a swimming area, boat launch ramp and promenade.  In addition there is a large unimproved waterfront area, clubhouse with a playground and basketball court, and a tennis court.  Beach maintenance including seasonal Attendants and Security services are provided for the safety and welfare of the community.  Our Property Committee dedicates many voluntary hours of service to maintain the common assets year round.
